Hi All I know it has been a few weeks but a lot has been going on.  The biggest thing is that on May 2 at 7:05 Glen got home!  It is so nice to have him home even if it is only for about a month and a half.  Finals have been this week but most of my teachers gave mine to me early which was nice in a way.  I finish this semester  with 3 A’s and 1 B.  Not bad.  I am happy.  I only have one class this summer and I will be all done with my bachelor’s degree. I am so excited about that!!!  It feels like I have been in school forever.  I am not going to know what to do with myself when I am all done.  Well I guess I will have  a baby to take care of.  J 

Speaking of our baby I am 15 weeks pregnant today, 6 May. And my next Dr appt is May 18^th.   Wow time is flying but at the same time it is going so slow.  Lol  Not sure how that is happening.  Well at 15 weeks baby McIntyre is about 4 inches long and the size of a apple.  I love that babies are  compared to fruit.  They say she is moving but I have not felt it yet.  I can’t wait to feel it!! He now has a well formed neck that his little head I sitting on.  Her eyebrows and eyelashes are starting to for this week.  They also say that the hair on its head is starting to grow but I am not crossing my fingers, since Glen and I were both bald.  Poor baby.  One thing that I find really neat is that the baby can sense light even though the eyes are still sealed shut.  He is also has the ability to suck his thumb and swallow the amniotic fluid.  I am feeling much better but still get sick every once in a while.  I am just happy Glen is home!!

8 & 12 Weeks Pregnant

Hi All, 

I was 12 weeks pregnant on Wednesday 15 April.  I had my second Dr appointment.  The Dr said everything looks good.  I got to hear the baby's heart beat again.  It is so amazing to hear it gets me every time.  I also lost a pound.  That was such a surprise to me but they said that that was not unusual.  They also said that from now on I should start gaining about a pound a week.  I know that gaining weight is what I will be doing from on but for some reason it is hard for me to grasp and accept.  I am so excited to be over the worst part of morning sickness!!!  

My first Dr appointment was 20 March.  This appointment also went really well.  They did a ultra sound which was so amazing!!  The heart beat was 169 beats per min and was 2.19 cm long.  Hearing the heart beat brought tears to my eyes.  It is amazing to hear the heart beat of your own child!!  I really missed having Glen there but one of my best friends Slyvia was there to hold my hand and be excited with.  One great thing that the ultra sound tech did was gave me a video of the whole ultra sound so Glen can watch it when he gets home!
